Also pray that we may be rescued from perverse and evil people, for not all are trustworthy. 3. But the Lord is trustworthy—and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

— 2 Thessalonians 3:2‭-‬3, tlv

Trustworthy is the saying: If we died with Him, we will also live with Him; 12. if we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us; 13. if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

— 2 Timothy 2:11‭-‬13, tlv

Ancient of Days, Your people rejoice to call You Father.

You protect us from the evil one who is at work in those who do not bend their knee to Messiah Yeshua or worship You — those You tell us are perverse and evil people.

We live with Messiah Yeshua.

We endure and reign with Him.

You are the faithful One in every generation.

We bless Your Name.

intercession for God’s people | Isaiah 55:10-11

For as the rain comes down, and the snow from the heavens, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, and give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11. so is My Word that goes forth from My mouth – it does not return to Me empty, but shall do what I please, and shall certainly accomplish what I sent it for.

Isaiah 55:10-11, isr

Your people praise You, Lord, that Your Word never returns to you empty — but it does all Your will. Be glorified in this, Father.

Your people ask for the satisfying nourishment of Your Word to water them and bring forth fruit that lasts.

We thank You for Your true prophets who spoke only the truth from You. Thank you that we can discern false prophets by their bad fruit.

You are trustworthy and we trust You.

our shield

But Thou, Hashem (Yahweh), art a mogen (a shield) around me; my kavod (glory, splendor), and the One who lifts up mine head.

— Psalm 3:3, ojb

But You, O יהוה (Yahweh), are a shield for me, My esteem, and the One lifting up my head.

— Psalm 3:3, isr

But You, Adonai, are a shield around me, my glory and the lifter of my head.

— Psalm 3:4, tlv

Your children thank You that this is who You are.

We need You to be a shield round about us today. Protecting us from spiritual deception and giving in to temptation to sin against You.

We need You to manifest Your glory everywhere we are today. May Your power, might, majesty, sovereignty, radiance, Truth, wisdom, righteousness and holiness be all that we are attracted to and see today.

We need You to lift up our heads from the weight and burden of living in a dark world today.

Let our faith in You arise today.

We bless Your Name today as we do every day.

Exalt the Lord

As I think about the men and women the Lord has summoned to intercede I am reminded that be they weary in the way of persevering watchfulness and prayer, when they think that the battle in prayer is over and that the adversary has risen victorious against them, I must pray all the more fervently that they stand on the Word with every piece of my Father’s armor on and secured in place lest they sustain a great injury of deception.
